Back in mid-August I was pretty sick and couldn't drink or eat much. I lost 10 lbs in six days. The next week I went on vacation and I was so excited not to be sick, that I wasn't stringent with my diet. Still hit my Protein and Water goals, but had a bite here and there of the not so good "vacation" food (okay, several bites lol). Now I'm back to work and I've been on the straight and narrow, following my plan. My dilemma is that I always weigh myself on the 6th of the month since that's my monthly surgery anniversary. Do I weigh in on Sunday and possibly get discouraged? It won't affect my eating either way. I've learned not to reward/punish myself with food. But knowing that I probably gained a couple pounds back after my illness (I'm sure part of the 10 lbs was water weight), I kind of just want to focus on eating right and exercising. But I don't want to miss my five-month weight check and I may die of curiosity before October 6 comes around! What would you do? The monthly weigh in is just something I like to do, not a dr visit or anything.
