I just got back from Europe yesterday and each time I went through the security x-ray machine it indicated metal at my abdomen. First couple of times I had tactical pants on and the other times I had on light shorts. No idea why I lit up like a Christmas tree. I'm seven months out of surgery and down from 295 to 183. This was the second time I've flown since the surgery and it happend on both trips, first time I didn't really think anything about it. Thanks for any insight

Sounds like you may need to go to the doctor and get an x-ray of your abdomen.

I am pretty sure the staples they use on the stomach are titanium.
