Shakes, broths and "thinned" cream of potato soup! Two full weeks of this per my Dr. Give me strength!

I have been on complete liquids like water and broth since surgery! I have not even had protein shakes!! I feel like I am going crazy. How did you do with the cream based soups? I get to start those tomorrow.

The thinned cream based soups were awesome after three days of clears. Something savory instead of sweet! I use Fair Life nonfat milk on the advice of my NUT. Adds nice creaminess and added protein.

I'm on the clear liquid diet, also had surgery on July 1st. I broke down tonight and had 1tbsp of cottage cheese for dinner with my family. The though of broth is making me nauseous. I also will have a couple sips of a protein shake when I feel 'hungry'. It's a rough road but worth it..... I hope!

Yes it is a very rough road! I literally have no energy at all! I am figuring that is because I have had nothing but water since last Wednesday. I can have the cream based soups and things starting tomorrow but I think I am going to break down and have just a little tonight!!
