no breakfast, lunch was some chicken soup and a yogurt. Dinner..mmmm.. I had homemade pizza. It was so damn good ! I was lucky and able to eat the crust as well. 3 months banded and feeling good. Weight loss is slow going, but im the only one who controlls that and im happy with the results so far. And isn't that why we get this surgery? To make ourselves happy?

Hi, I enjoyed reading these daily intakes. I have a few questions. I noticed that most were under 1,000 calories. Is that typical? I'm not sure I could keep up my energy with so little. I am newly banded and realize I won't be eating real food for awhile but I want to be mentally prepared. Sandy

Oh, I eat way more than 1000 and Ive gotten to a healthy weight. I may have to go that low to do the fine tuning though, its much harder to lose now.

I exercise instead - I'd rather eat and exercise.

Yesterday I had

breakfast: bircher muesli

snack: coffee

lunch: caesar salad and a few mouthfulls of orange juice

snack: banana

dinner: beef schnitzel and steamed vegetables

I'm with Jachut...I like to eat way too much to drink shakes for meals. That is not really a healthy way IMO anyways because really, in all actuality, how many years do you really think you could drink your meals. I was bored the first two weeks out of surgery, so I can't see drinking a meal. I understand that some people can NOT eat at certain times of the day and so they drink a protein meal. I am talking about those people who drink their meals just because. I eat a lot of food during the day though. I have no fills, but I do have restriction. I can not eat like I use to. I eat way more than a 1000 calories too. I like it that way though. I LOVE FOOD!!! I am losing about 4-5 a week so I don't really consider that a bad loss. Deanna

Hi yesterday I ate

B Protien shake

S Cottage cheese with strawberries

L Pea and Ham Soup

S Cottage Cheese with Strawberries

T Lamb Steak with pumpkin, Peas, Corn & Potato

30 Minutes at curves

45 Minutes on the Treadmill
