Long stalls after 50

Hi ladies. I am getting frustrated! I had surgery on 12/2014 ,highest weight was 312 and now I am really stuck at 260. The scale will not move for 6 weeks. Any tips to get the scale to move!! Is it because I am 50 metabolism is slower? I see so many younger people in the forum losing way more than I am. I understand we shouldn't compare to others but crap I need to lose 35-40 lbs for knee surgery. I should do the sleeve challenge

(If that is what it's called) I am open to ideas......

What has your diet been like? Are you doing the protein first? How about exercise? Have you calculated fat, sugars...? You may have to jump-start by adding more exercise or more challenging exercise.

You may need to add carbs if you're not getting enough. Have you talked with your dietician? Might be a good place to start. Call or e-mail them. Good luck to you....
