acid reflux and night

Lately if I eat a one to two hours before bed time wake up with fluid in my throat and a bit goes into my lungs and makes me cough. So sometimes I go to sleep sitting up. Well the last I went to sleep sitting up the stuff came out my nose. I think that it goes into my lung a make me feel bad for a day. I have can not eat before bed and It is really hard. I was banded almost 1 year and 9 months and was 254 and now I am 156. I think that I am still losing weight and want to stop. I try to eat what ever I want now. I have really good days and some bad days. If I dont eat breakfast of some sort usually my day will go bad. The one thing that saves me is that I exercise. I do it everyday. I just started running. I also do kickboxing. someone let me know about that feeling in my threat.

I've been dealing with the same thing for a few months now....PCP put me on Protonix and that helps some. I also had to cut out my arthritis meds, SF dark chocolate and had to switch to low acid coffee. That helped for a few months but now it's back again. I had an EGD last week to examin my esophagus (they put a camera down your throat).... I just knew I had an ulcer but they said it was mildly irritated BUT my band has tightened up and food is backing up in my esophagus. So .....Monday I'm getting a slight unfill. I hope they know what they are talking about because this is getting miserable.

Hope you get some relief soon, sweetie!!
