Pushing through a plateau

Hi everyone! I just love this supportive group of people. Anyway, I am now 1 year post op and down 140 pounds with another 50 to go and I'm at a 4 week stall. I'm eating about 1100 calories a day and exercising 6 days a week. What can I do to shake off the plateau? Should I eat less calories? I'm scared I'll go into starvation mode and not lose anything that way. Should I just sit back and relax and wait for the plateau to pass? Advice anyone?

I've had two plateaus already! I tried cutting calories and just mostly eating lean protein for a few days. Then increasing my activity level. Plus, I usually noticed that during a plateau my clothes were more roomy even though the scale didn't move. Your body may be redistributing the weight. You are doing a wonderful job!
