Am I INSANE?!?

Ever since I booked my band surgery for Sept 13, I've been eating like a horse! I'm a bottomless pit! I swear I'm on death row and every meal's my last! AUGHHH I've gained 5 pounds since I booked.

Why am I doing this crap to myself?

:omg::help::):angry:cry:confused:

I did the same thing before my surgery. Just remember you have a ways to go before your date and every pound gained now is just one more you will have to take off later. It is hard though. Its like you want to pack as much in as you can because you know you wont be able to after the band. Just try and stay strong. Maybe eat what ever you want. But watch the amount you are eating. I guess if it were that easy you probably wouldnt need the band in the first place right? Good luck to you.

If we had control we wouldn't be fat.

I read a book WLS for Dummies and it talked about the last meal mentality and not to do this.

Somehow it made me step back and then I became very stingy on what I would eat. It had to be delicious and only what I wanted really bad.

My suggestion is get REAL PICKY. It helped me. I stopped the mindless eating and just ate like I would never get to eat this certain food again.

Now I know it is not true at all.

Good Luck and don't beat yourself up ,
