4 months out!

I wish I had found this before and shortly after my rny. But better late than never. Maybe someone still looks at this forum.

I'm exactly 4 months out today, I have lost around 60 lbs. i have had a few complications. Most recently I had a scope done , I think it was called an EGD, and they found I have an ulcer. I was having trouble keeping food down, I thought I was eating too fast. I'm a little frustrated. Plus I feel I haven't lost any weight for a few weeks. And I'm having some constipation problems.

Other than that I am feeling really good. Better than I have in a really long time.

So how is everyone else doing that's 4 months out??

I'm doing great! My cw is 279 lbs. My dr says I'm 5-10 lbs ahead of his schedule! I've thrown up here and there. But I pretty much know now what to stay away from. I was off my bp meds, then put back on. Just got taken off again today because I've been near passing out and my bp today at the dr office was 100/60. No wonder! My first set of blood work isn't until the end of June. I'm a little nervous. But we'll see.

And there's quite a few people on here. And there are some regulars which make it nice.

I'm sorry to hear of your complication. What are they going to do?

The Dr put me on some meds for the ulcer, I will have another scope done on May 1st to see if it is healing. I'm not sure what will be the next step if it doesn't heal. It seems if I graze or eat only "sliders" I am okay, no throwing up. But when I eat more solid food, any type of meat it usually ends up with me suffering.

I know the grazing and eating soft food doesnt do my weight loss any good, but Im not sure what else to do. As I am sure the vomitting can't be good for the ulcer either.

Suggestion-Low fat cottage cheese and lite greek yogurt have a good amount of Protein.

Hoping the medicine will help!
