My insurance does not cover any form of bariatric surgery. I am going to have to go the self pay route. I do not want to go out of the USA. Can anyone give me some institutions that provide medical loans? Anyone use any specific places or banks for theirs loans?

Your surgeon may suggest a plan. Or take a loan from a 401k

My dr's office suggested Credit Care (check with your surgeon first- not all places accept this). Since I was self pay I moved through the process very quickly and didn't have time to keep looking for a bank loan. The banks in my area also limited personal loans to a max of 24 months so that wasn't really a viable option.

I'll be going the Credit Care route.
