Am I losing as I should?

Hi,

Was banded on 4.30 and have lost 7 pounds as of yesterday. I don't always feel like I am full though. Is that natural? Going for my first fill on June 12th, next Tuesday. Will that help alot?

Bit confused at this point.....

Thanks:help:

What have you been eating? You should have been on a liquid diet at first. If you are eating a lot of carbs for your mushie foods, it will slow down your weight loss.

Some people don't really start losing until after their first fill. Those first few weeks are more about letting yourself heal than really losing a lot--and everybody is so different. I agree that if you are eating more carbs than protein, it will come off slower. Are you still in the mushies phase, or you on full solids? They say to eat your protein first, then veggies, then carbs if you are still hungry. A fill should really help with making you feel full, but sometimes it takes more than one. Hang in there--it does get better.

i had mine done on 3/12 and i stuck to the menus they recommended. i ate plenty of proteins and no carbs at all...actually. i lost 30lbs in about 2-3wks. talk to your dietician and write down all of what you're eating and see what he/she has to say. exercise too:)
