13 years post-op and regained 40 pounds.

So there ya go....I am 13 years post op this spring, and over the course of the last two years I have gained 40 pounds. I feel physically horrible, everything hurts and I can barely move. Mentally I feel worse, like a total failure, the cravings and mindless definitely get the best of me on a daily basis.

What are some things you guys have done to cope? I have a goal to get this regain off before I turn 50, which is still 2+ years away.

I am only 20 months out, so you have a lot of time on me. That said, I would encourage you to make your health your priority. If you are not using a food tracking app, find one you like. I love MyFitnessPal.com, it's free and a great tool in maintaining my 210 pound weight loss.

Join a gym and find a find a form of exercise that works for you. I belong to my local YMCA and do a variety of classes. I also walk at least 10,000 steps everyday.

I turned 50 on Super Bowl Sunday. Celebrating that milestone at my ideal weight and feeling fantastic was a dream come true! If I can do it you can too!
