Question about liquid diet

Hi i was hoping someone can give me some advice....

I am getting married in 70 days, I have had my band since Oct/07, so far I have lost 63 lbs, however I ordered my dress in advance a few sizes too small, anticipating my weight loss.

Now with only a few weeks to go I would like to lose another 20 pounds. I have no restriction right now as I am awaiting my new insurance. I can't afford 500 for a fill, with the wedding coming up.

I have maybe 3 inches to lose in order to fit into my dress.

MY QUESTION IS:

I lost 15 pounds pre-op on the liquid diet, do you think it would be safe for me to do Protein shakes as Meal Replacements for a few weeks- like 4? I will be getting in over 90 grams of protein, and I take a Vitamin every day as well as drink a lot of Water?

Do you think this will be ok/safe?

Thanks in advance!!!!

I have been sick and have been on almost a month of liquids as I cant get solids to stay down- no problem with this, just watch your calories. I tried "Nectar" today from Syntrax- 90 calories a serving, 23g protein , no carbs- this will help. Also count your calories and stay under 700 a day and you will see it drop off, I lost 12lbs the first week. i have plateaued now and am waiting. you can do it and you have your goal in mind! Go for it! ps- also stick to low carb if you can and it really will drop in 2 weeks.
