Complete unfill

I have had the band two years and lost a lot of weight. About a week ago I started to pick up problems couldn't even keep water down. Went to my surgeon yesterday he did a complete unfill. I also have what I can only describe as a terrible chest infection, I was a bit surprised as the doctor seemed to think this was related, I expected to wake up this morning feeling great, well this has not happened. Can anyone tell me am I expecting to much? Will the coughing go away now? How long till I feel good again. The surgeon also said if no improvement the band will have to come out. I would hate that, but I can't stand feeling this ill.

I hope you feel better soon!

If it is an infection, antibiotics should do the trick. Otherwise you'll have to work with your doc on another treatment plan. Good luck and I hope it resolves soon.
