I couldn't ask for anything more. I truly was treated like a V.I.P. every moment of my stay. Mere words cannot express how elated I was with the level of treatment, care, and humanity that I received from Dr. Rodriguez. . I like to work with only the best and I consider Dr. Arturo Rodriguez and his staff to be the best. They have earned a client for life.

I'm considering getting the lap band in mexico due to the cheaper expenses but scared to go over there or have to pay allot of money for fills once back in MA. What is typicall for fills? How many do you get? I want this so bad! Has anyone been to mexico? can you help me out?

I was also banded by Dr. Arturo Rodriguez and his staff are wonderful. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I was also afraid of going to Mexico. I have returned several times alone since my surgery. The only regret I have about the surgery is that I waited so long before finally getting it done.

Monterrey is nothing like the border city of mexico which have given that country the bad rap.

I have had five fills. I had two done by Dr. Rodriguez free of charge and only payed the lab for use of the fluro in Dallas Texas. I had three done by a docotor located in Houston Texas for $200.00 each. That is why you have to be sure of the commitment that involved prior to going to mexico. In order for the band to be successful it has to be adjusted. So you need to make sure you include the cost for aftercare either locally or if you return to mexico.
