Question about stomach "contractions"

I had my sleeve done Wednesday was on clear liquids in the hospital now on just liquids. I keep having theses strange contraction like feelings. I don't think it's hunger. I don't have any feelings of hunger. I'm drinking my fluids and I just don't know what this could be. It's not really painful I just don't know if it's normal. Has anyone experienced any of this?

I haven't had contractions but I sometimes feel like I've swallowed a bellowing Wookie. Can be heard across the room. I hope that ends before my next board meeting!

@Brandytanny- Dr told me the uncomfortable feelings are the gas they used to inflate your stomach during surgery. The more you walk, and "release" the air, the less discomfort you will have. The gas may also mask itself like stabbing pinched nerves. All normal. Should dissapate after a week.

I have those exact feeling of contractions. Im only 3 days out. Mine feels like a sharp hunger pain with a contraction. It lasts about 3 seconds. Mine is less each day so i guess its part of healing

Thank you! I agree it must be part of the healing because they have gone away.
