WHEN does it go away?

I'm nearly eight months post-op and still have these mighty belches that force their way out of me from the depths of my gut. It's crazy. I'll never get a boyfriend. My kids are tired of the belching. I am way over it too. I've made by dog jump in fright several times.

Does that ever stop?

Is it something you are eating or drinking? I am 9 months out and I get gas if eat to much or drink to much but not just sitting down doing nothing , have you asked your GP about it ?

This will sound silly, but exhale before you swallow. It might be that you're swallowing air with your food/drink.
