Considering Banding

Hi, in the last 18 months i have reduced my BMI from 40-32, however hit a plateau about 6 months ago, and still need to lose 30 kg... and am now considering banding as an option, however i am not sure now whether i fit the criteria needed:confused: .... i also suffer from chronic pain and take naprosyn... does any one know if this makes me not suitable for surgery.... would love to hear others opinions.....:help:

Hi Blah blah

I am having a band in 2 weeks. I need to loose about 30 kls also and have chronic osteoarthritis pain and take panadeine forte and anti inflammatories. I need to stop the anti flams now and hope with the weight lose I will not have to go back on them. I have already had both my knees replaced and refused to have any more articfical joints. My doctor was happy fo rme to go ahead with the banding.
