Thanks Alex

I had an experience on another "support" area. Seems someone wanted to blame me for problems from the surgery, etc. and basically said I should shut up and get over it. I've seen it even worse on Obesity Help.

Never have I seen that attitude on here. Thank you for allowing us to speak openly and honestly about our experiences, good and bad. I appreciate the support - everyone - and being able to support back. Good doctors need to feel that they'll get the kudos that they deserve and people take note of problems (and I have a great set now) so this is a better experience for everyone.

Thanks again Alex for putting this forum up and expanding it into a safe and comfortable place for everyone.

Ever since I discovered this site (when I first started to research surgical options in August 2013) i have checked in a couple of times every day. Well, except for my two days in the hospital. I plan on checking in for a long time so that newbies can get a veteran's perspective. Thanks Alex for building this site.

I agree! I learned more from this site and the people on it than I did from my surgeon and NUT!! I love the fact that everyone is very supportive. Thank you all and especially thanks to Alex.

Not just that, but those of us with issues didn't get treated like jerks. I've had out and out hostility, banning, blocking, being followed, etc. Basically told to shut up so people would get surgery, don't scare them off. Alex has never done that. We're allowed to take honest looks at what happens and try to share wisdom learned so that others don't get what we did. I think that's a mature way to look at things, honest also.

Not a lot of drama here either. :)
