Week 3 Post-Op Weigh In

So I jumped on the scales this morning for my weekly weigh-in. They did jump around a little to show a loss of either 0 or .6kg (600g). I am taking the .6kg.

At first I was a little disappointed with this, but I need to embrace that slowly but surely is the key to success. So I've turned my frown upside down and am ecstatic with my total loss of 10.7kg... That's 23.5lb for those that don't use metric (sounds better too).

I am also doing pretty well with my first fill that I had on Monday, I'm still in the soft food phase and have been chewing everything so so slowly. I haven't experienced any stuck episodes yet which I am totally thankful for.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Meg, how much was pre-op? Just curious. My weight has been slow coming off, it seems, but like you I have just had to remind myself that slow and permanent is so much better than any alternative. I do wish I could hurry and get to the green zone, though! :)

Hi Keeper, pre-op I list 5.6kg and then 4.5kg in the 2 weeks of fluids post-op. I am finding that now I'm on the soft foods that I can obviously consume more calories.. I just need to learn to work with it.
