Would love a mentor or buddy :)

Hi all my name is Tam, I'm 34 and my gastric bypass surgery is booked for the 23 Jan.... I'm excited but very nervous and scared about the what ifs etc.... I know I need this to be 100% happy with myself but I don't have very much support just a family member.... I kinda stressed myself out reading all the side effects of the surgery and almost want to cancel it...... I'd be so greatful to have a buddy or mentor or both... I'm from Australia but anywhere in the world would be fine... Just be good to have someone ease my mind
