Nothing simple is ever easy

Maybe it's the liquid diet, I don't know but the littlest things are getting under my skin, I have my surgery Friday. Today I went to fill a prescription they gave me it's a patch you put behind your ear the day of surgery so you don't get sick during surgery, it's for 1 patch, I go to CVS was told it would be an hour to fill it, I come back only to be told that I can't have just one because they won't break up a box that my surgeon needs to prescribe more, this irritates me as I don't need a whole box, and they wasted an hour of my time, I live 20 miles from a pharmacy so when I go to town, I'm stuck in town, so I go to a different pharmacy but they don't have it and said it would have to be ordered. Going to call my Dr. and see what I'm supposed to do and what pharmacy if any would give me the least amount of trouble.

  • That's weird. Usually the anesthesia person puts those patches on. They have them at the hospital. Maybe you could just get it there during preop.

  • They talked like they wanted it in my system when I arrived but you're right, maybe they could just give me one at the hospital.

Went to Walgreens had no problems today

I had to buy a box of 3 and ended up throwing 2 away.

They applied mine in the hospital just before surgery.
