The email notifications drive me nuts. They clog up our system, I dont need to be notified everytime someone posts. But I cant figure out how to just unsubscribe from ALL my threads at one. Surely I dont have to do it thread by thread ? I'm subsribed to 2,500+, lol.

You could try in your user CP, going to subscriptions, edit subscriptions, and deleting the subscribed threads folder.

You can also change your subscription options to "no email notification." That way you still have a list of subscribed threads but don't get any e-mails about them.
