I'm a week post op (been home for 4 days) and I cannot get tye sticky residue from the tape and bandages off my skin. :-(

Years ago when my very young daughter was hospitalized frequently, we used hand lotion to remove the residue from the tape and bandages. Just make sure that you don't get it on your incisions. I noticed in my patient's handbook that the surgeon has a set time post-op before putting anything on the incisions.

I always just let it wear off as you bathe and such. I have sensitive skin and the guk actually will leave bruises if I try to rub it off.
