Pasta and the band

I had a weight watchers lasagna for lunch today. I didn't have any trouble with it getting stuck but it seems to be just sitting in my stomach uncomfortably and not digesting very well.

Is this why they say we should avoid Pasta with the band? Is this a common reaction to eating pasta? It feels sort of like it did last week when I tried french fries.
