Port & Fill

I have 5cc in my band, last 2 weeks I seem to can't get full so I figured I needed a fill. Went to Dr. to get a fill & he couldn't get the needle in,kept hitting it,come to find out the port had flipped. So now I have to go to outpatient day surgery to get it fixed. Has anyone experienced this and what may have caused this. My Dr. Said this was the first for him.

this isn't the first time. I don't know of the cause but I imagine that the port wasn't secured enough when you had the band put in. I hear the surgery is very simple and fast. I wish you luck.
