Do you mean gas bubbles?

Or the bubbles from carbonation?

I have heard of other people getting pains in their shoulders after they eat...I know that your body gives you a sign of some sort when you have eaten enough since we can no longer experience that "Thanksgiving " uncomfortable full feeling like we did pre band... for me I get one of those ice cream brain freeze headaches so I know it is time to stop. Maybe the shoulder pain is your sign?? Or it could just stil lbe trapped gas..I still get gas cramps. I'm gassier more then ever since being banded.

I think its gas bubbles and i still didnt get a filling but maybe ur right but sometimes i eat so little and still get them anyway thanx for replying and i will contact my doc and ask him hopefully

It may be that you have restriction enough for this to be your initial sign of fullness. I had the same thing and eventually learned this was my body telling me it was time to stop. If you have restriction - Congratulations! Not everyone does.

Try to become aware if this happens after a few bites. If so, sounds like the band is doing it's job! :)

Welcome to the board!

I actually don't think it has anything to do with the gas. I've done some reading up on this because my shoulder aches sometimes, and it doesn't always seem to be after I eat. On another board I'm a member of, they call it referred pain. Most of your stomach is on the left side of your body, and the band is a foreign object, and sometimes your brain apparently translates the band being there as shoulder pain.

At first I thought my neck was stiff, because for me it feels like if I could just crack my neck it would feel better... but it never cracks. lol...

Anywho, It's kinda nice to see another youngin' on the boards. I'm 22 :)

What board is it that talks of this referred pain

I've been getting headaches with this new fill level.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with each other.
