Leak test done, finally some liquids. Orange Crystal light, 15 cc's every 15 minutes

I had to drink this gross water soluable stuff. They take you to X Ray to view it go down the pouch.

yea that gastro... stuff they give you before the barium has the worst frikkin' taste.

That stuff seriously made me nauseated. I nearly lost it after I had to drink it. The after taste is worse, felt like it coated my tongue.

I got a scapolomine patch behind my ear before surgery, not a bit of nausea. Get one if u can, awesome. Normally anesthesia makes me so nauseous.

Just had my one week check up. I'm very relieved that he took my drain out. Definitely one of the weirdest sensations of my life. Very fast and strange. Now I feel so much better and the pain I. My left side is a lot better. It's weird to think that the tube goes that far into your body.

I've been cleared for Stage 2 liquids - skim milk and Protein powders are okay, as well as fat free thin Soups like tomato Soup and sugar free puddings.

Just had a cup of chicken stock with unjury chicken soup flavored Protein powder. Freakin' delicious.

I feel like 80% of my recovery is done and it's only been a week! Now I can't make any more excuses and putting off working from home ???? guess I better get to work soon. I think I'll work from home for 2 weeks and then go back to work full time!

Ugh why does it change any mention of unjur.y. To that weird medical quality Protein link?? And delete whatever comes after!

Admittedly it's a great product but it makes me feel like a corporate schill

I had them give me cloth soaked in water just so I could like rub it around the inside of my mouth to get rid of that taste

I'm going home. Goodbye room. post-234841-14134160856357_thumb.jpgpost-234841-14134160966697_thumb.jpgpost-234841-14134161087796_thumb.jpg

Hello all...newbie here with RNY surgery date of 10/07. Glad that week is over! Not terrible pain but more being uncomfortable in hospital. Was so glad to be at home.

I'm determined to only weigh once a week from now on. I was checking daily and felt so bad that I didn't see these big drops like so many do. I'm adding a pic of an app screen that measures your heart rate. I've been over 100 beats per minute for a long time. Well, it's much improved this week!!!!post-237582-14134449384859_thumb.jpg
