I went to a retirement party for a former co-worker last night. I hadn't seen the majority of guests in over a year. I walked into the restaurant rocking my nicest skinny jeans and received my favorite comment yet . One of my former colleagues didn't recognize me at all and then came up behind me and said "I recognized your voice , but not your ass" . I literally lol'd . She was so blunt and genuinely surprised and she just kept hugging me.

It was honest, funny, odd and sweet all at the time much like this entire last year. Happy one year surgeraversary to me !
