AARP Medicare complete

I have aarp medicare complete and have been approved for surgery on September 24th, but am worried about my coinsurance cost that I am going to need to have with me the day of my surgery. Does anyone have medicare complete and have a rough estimate of how much I am needing to save up for between now and the day of my surgery. Do they make you pay what the hospital actually charges per their allowable amount or what the hospital submits to them as their cost. I am going to call on Tuesday and find out, because the person that handles that is not in on Monday, but I am worried now because I got my approval today and have not been able to ask anyone about it. I am worried because I would like to know so I can start planning now. I am having my surgery done at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, Al if that helps.
