Surgury Prep

Hi,

I am getting the sleeve (hopefully) and I decided to worry about whether they would be shaving my chest and gut entirely or just enough to put the electrodes on and to allow room for the incisions?

Baby bottom smooth. :o No seriously....just the belly. And it's gonna itch like hell for a couple of weeks. Definitely get some Benadryl cream.

They just shaved where they needed to, on me.

FYI I was warned not to shave myself The nurse told me that if i had just one little nick they would not do the surgery. Not sure if that is true but that is what she told me.

They only shaved my belly. I also told them I was ticklish so they shaved me after I was out.

Like Mick said no shaving anywhere the day of surgery. I did shave my face the night before and didn't have to bother with it again until I got home from the hospital.

I shaved my chest & stomach a few days prior.

I was specifically instructed to NOT shave. let them handle that. the reason is for infections.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just my belly was shaved. I have no scars either.
