I had mine on Oct 6th. Rough recovery so far. Really had a depressing time this morning bcuz I was in so much pain. Took my pain med n started feeling better then slept most of the day.

Hi Gretamt

Sorry to hear that it hasn't been a breeze. Hang in there!

Thx Michelle61 I believe this is just one day at a time progress. This eve has been very good. Just really want some pudding or more variety, which I'm hoping will be my new instructions from the doc on Monday ????. I also looked at how far thanksgiving is in my post-op and it will be 7 1/2 wks. Sooo I will be able to have a tiny turkey dinner. So excited about that. I don't know about u but when I'm told I can't have something I want it even more lol. Which doesn't make a lot if sense to me. I've been sober for 26 1/2 yrs n have never relapsed once!!! I wish the eating thing had been as easy as my sobriety lol. Anyway I wish u well on ur upcoming surgery. Just try n stay positive. ????????

I'm going Monday (27th). Trying to control my nerves, especially since I have to lead two workshops on Saturday. Just keep swimmin'. Just keep swimmin.'
