Not losing

I had my band surgery 5 years ago and lost 20# and stopped. I can't seem to make myself eat good protein and tend to eat things that "go down easy". I know it is my own fault, but need some easy suggestions to get back on track!

Thanks,

Kathy

Hi Kathy

While I was losing I always kept cold turkey in the fridge cut up in to tiny cubes... I love turkey...it's my main source of Protein. Whenever I wanted a snack I would grab a few ounces of turkey and some carrot sticks and some homemade dip.

I found the is really helped.

4 months out from surgery I was struggling too. I had a consult with my surgeon's nutritionist and she nailed down where I was making mistakes and set me on the right course. Call your doctor and make sure your band is adjusted properly. Ask for a nutritionist consult while you're there or schedule an appointment.

This isn't going to work for you unless the band is filled optimally!
