Slow progress.

Hi all! I was banded in march 2014...down 15 lbs so far. I don't feel a whole lot different, 3 fills to date. Kinda getting discouraged...seems like very slow progress..is this normal? Any feedback is much appreciated!

I lost 12 lbs the first 2 weeks and then nothing for the next 3.5 months. Unfortunately your dilemma is somewhat normal. If you don't feel different, are you feeling any restriction when you eat food or do you feel any satiety?

I knew why I didn't lose weight those 4 months and it was because I was eating too much food largely because I didn't feel any satiety after meals. I was basically on a diet and of course we don't do well on diets. But as soon as I got my 3rd fill and I had a consult with my nutritionist, I started losing 5-7 lbs a month. It took 3 more fills to reach the green zone.

You probably just need more fills? Some people need up to 6 fills to get the scale to start moving?
