i work for cingular wireless and have just enrolled in united health care i was wondering if anyone knew if they covered this procedure

does anyone at least know where i can get a list of big name companies that cover this

You would need to look at the book you got when you signed up for benefits. If it's not mentioned there, call UHC and given them your ID number and they can tell you if it's covered, you have to have the procedure code, I think it's: 43770.

I have UHC and they covered it for me. They were great. They would not cover my extra skin being taken off though. But thay did cover the lap band. Good luck to you.
