I'm 8 weeks out from getting revision from band to sleeve and started solids this week. So far going good, no issues with anything and able to keep it down. Haven't gone crazy had chicken, ground beef, carrots etc. tomorrow I plan to have a 1/2 slice of toast and I can't wait. I try to stay with easy stuff while at work just I case

Your surgeon's postop diet plan will dictate when you start solid foods. And I suggest following his/her instructions to a T. I only introduced one new thing /day through every stage. I transitioned very slowly, ate very slow and chewed chewed chewed. Had no problems.

Per my surgeon's plan, I was on full liquids for four weeks, then purees for four weeks, then on to soft solids. I followed his instructions faithfully and had no problems.

30 days before I had solid food and no problems.

I was purée - after 1 week

Then onto soft foods two weeks after that

Have just been cleard for solids but I still haven't tried steak or anything

Raw veggies kind of hit my tummy a little hard.

Or at leadt the carrots and broccoli did. Lol

Had corned beef this week. Yummy!!!!

But mostly still a lot of fish and some poultry and occasionally ground beef

Am going to make chicken shish Ka bab tonite and hubby having hanger steak. I may try a bite.

Gotta say turning into a pescatarian and I don't mind really!

Six weeks after banding I went to solid foods. No problems.
