Restriction weeks after fill

Helop

I had my 4th fill about 4 1/2 weeks ago and the last 2 days hardly anything goes down. liquids do but very slowly. I am a 3cc in a 4 cc band.

Why would this be??? Can't restriction increase this much after this much time has passed???

Meme,That has happened to me twice. I just completed my first year a couple of days ago and am only a few pounds from goal ,but last September I was almost seven weeks into a fill when it hit and the next time was in Jan. this year about four weeks after fill. They only had to take a dabble out but had no reasoning why it happened.Good luck to you and don't wait to long to get an unfill it will be instant feel better.

I don't know why it happens either, but I have experienced the very same thing. I read that it is quite common, so be rest assured.

That has happened to me as well, and my doc said that before or during your period can really tighten the band. It doesn't always happen, but it can. I don't know if this applies to you, but it's one explanation anyway. Everytime I have had a fill, I don't feel restriction until about two weeks after. Go figure! It's a temperamental little thing, isn't it!

Well,

Isn't it weird how we all run into the same things. I too, had a fill 4 weeks ago. I haven't lost an ounce, in fact I've gained 2 pounds. I eat 500-800 calories a day max. My surgeon, Dr. Curry emailed me a few min.'s ago and said we need to do a slight unfill. My body thinks it's starving, but I'm not even hungry, ever. It's also, tom, which I'm sure is making things tighter. I hope a slight unfill will help things. Today I had a 1/2 cup of oats for breakfast and that was at 10am and it had trouble going down and then at 2pm tried 1/2 cup of green beans and after 4 bites just gave up. Good luck to you.
