post op!

I had my surgery yesterday as well as scar tissue from the band/adhesion ans a large hital hernia repared.

Reactions to sedation- cant pee so I've had a cath. Today vomiting up dried blood from surgery and still npo except ice chips.

This is a lot rougher than the band and band removal.

They should give you something so you don't vomit. Please ask about that.

My understanding is vomiting is bad for the pouch and staples in there.

Sorry you had a reaction that's to bad.

Once you can have liquids and can get up out of bed each day will get a little easier for you until the surgery will be a distant memory.

Remember if you're not sure about something or something their doing ask what's if for or the purpose of it. You are the one in control.

Feel better and rest as much as you can.

Oh No! I had my band out yesterday and know how I'm feeling. But that was about 34 hours ago and I'm feeling better every few hours or so with the help of my meds. With that said, I still have to go through RNY after I heal. that sounds a little scary. Take care, I hope it gets better soon.
