Does the hunger go away?

Hi folks,

I was sleeved last Monday, have lost 20lbs since.

For the last 3 days I have been rabidly hungry. I can't stand it. Granted, I drink some Protein or some Water and I am full for maybe 2 or 3 hours...but then it comes back.

I am really worried that I am going to eat something that hurts my healing stomach. I just a a finger nail sized piece of pickle - it's tiny and I chewed it up, but still that is not on the liquid only diet I am supposed to followed for the next month.

My stomach is hungry - it feels like hunger pains. I feel like I am on a massive diet - really tired at the end of the day and HANGRY.

Does this get better? Or is this just something I have to manage going forward? I just don't think I will be able to make it a month on water and Protein drinks.

Help!

LOL @ HANGRY!! I was having bad stomach hunger and a feeling of acid in my stomach which made it worse. It went away after a few days. I guess everyone is different but when you start eating pureed/solid foods its wont be so bad...remember your brain really does have to catch up with your stomach. I was sleeved on 6/17 and my brain is still greedy and HANGRY (LOL) but my stomach doesn't want anything bad to eat...just give it some time. Everyday it'll get better....

Hey There! I completely feel your pain!! I got sleeved two weeks ago and Im just starting puréed stage. The first 2 weeks is brutal. Have you tried a protein powder (chocolate flavored) with ice and 1% milk, if you close your Wes it almost tastes like a milk shake. Those helped a lot. Also, I had Greek yogurt which was good too and Popsicles, sugar free helped too. Stay strong and stay the course! You don't want to leak and soon you will reap the benefits. It does suck though but you will get through!
