Hi! everyone!! I'm having surgery on Monday June 30th. I went to my endocrinologist today and found out that my A1C level is at 8.7 and that they usually like to have an A1C of below 8 before doing surgery, but they would let me go ahead and have the surgery anyway. I was wondering if anyone els had high A1C levels before surgery? If so did you have any trouble healing? I'm just a tad bit nervous
about the surgery so any comment would help ease my nerves greatly.
