I live in a small town and there aren't any local support groups for bariatric patients so I'm going to start one. If anyone attends one or knows about them, could you please give me some advice about how they are run? I am most interested in learning about what is discussed? Is there a theme for each meeting or is it usually just q&a? How often are the meetings? How long are they? Any input would be useful.

I have a NUT who will attend as well as a psychologist. (They're both friends of mine willing to donate their time).
