How long before the swelling goes down?

I'm on day 5 and my stomach is still very swollen. I was expecting this and it's not a problem but I'm just curious, when does the swelling usually go away?

Mine went away between the second and third week, I think? I was swollen for longer than I expected to be.

Mine has gone down significantly since Saturday / Sunday (day 6-7 still bloated, day 9 much less).

Just keep moving! It's gas...

Surgery was Monday. I don't really notice any bloating, but today I am hearing a lot of gas moving around. Not sure whether it's in my intestines or just in my body.

Any help on gas? I am having non-stop gas and keep making it. I am not vomiting, but am doing that at the other end (sorry TMI). I am wondering if I am lacto intolorant. I am using Extreme Gas X with only minimual help. What have others done? I am 7 days from my sugery and worried on the gas issue.
