AJ, I haven't had surgery yet, but have been researching this issue. On the countless diets I've survived in the past, plateaus have been a discouraging experience. The information I've gathered from around the Net is that the best form of exercise to deal with this is high intensity interval training. I intend to use this type of exercise when I regain my health post surgery and will share my experience with it. I have read that this can really break down a plateau. Research high intensity interval training and please let us know what you think. Hope it helps!
