I can always gulp my water after a fill and in fact they have me drink 2 glasses very fast but I just had my 6th or 7th fill last week and I can't gulp now and I'm very restricted. So, I would say when you do get good restriction you can't gulp as fast as before. Hope this helps some.

I have been post op for almost 3 weeks, and I have been sipping and sipping.... Fearing of PBing if I gulp. Yesterday, I was so thursty, I didnt even think, picked up my crystal light and took a big swig!!! I was so paniced when i did it... and then I realized I was just fine!

Will make hydrating myself a lot easier!
