My doctor told me I didnt need to but I think I will starting Monday as I have gained about 5 pounds since I went to the doctors last. I am so excited! I started this process in September of last yr. I planned on working right up til the day before, but now I am thinking getting my nails done and a pedicure sounds much better and may take the afternoon off so I can do that and be home with my hubby and kids that evening and spend it with them :) If you have Facebook you can add me stacy huff bobian

Sorry, I just saw this!

I'm not going to sugar coat. Surgery was rough. I was nauseous and in a lot of pain. These past weeks have been rough and I don't get my Protein in. I've got the Water down, but I still experience a lot of nausea for no apparent reason. I actually had to call my doctor today because I've been nauseous since I woke up and have only been able to choke down about 15g of Protein today. He said to wait it out, drink as much Water as I can, go to the ER if there is pain and call in the morning.

WLS is not an easy thing. For me, it's been very difficult and emotionally trying. Still, I don't regret my decision. My doctor says I will have days like this, where I just feel awful. I know it will get better and I just have to keep on keepin' on.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
