C-Pap Machine

I notice alot of post where people are saying that they have gas and air and discomfort after surgery. Does any one else use a c-pap machine? Does it make it worse or not really affect the amount of gas and air.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I have surgery on the 24th of April 07.
