Last straw stories

Do you have a 'last straw' story when you realized you had to have surgery? I realize it's kind of self-indulgent to dwell on on those TV drama moments, but hey, sometimes misery just loves company. What was your last straw?

Hi Keluliana Great topic!

The last straw for me was sort of the last dominoe that fell. I still hadn't succeeded!

And I still hadn't succeeded....

when I said I would lose weight because I now was diagnosed with diabetes and sleep apnea and was having difficulty

staying awake because of the apnea and my great fatigue caused by

the medications I was on for pain because I fell and injured my large frame

and required painkillers to help me get through my day at work. I love my job BUT it was becoming increasingly difficult to walk. I was and am constantly winded. Not to mention all the times I say "NO" to outings involving my family because I don't want to be a party pooper or force them to miss out on any activity because I have pain or need to lay down and rest my back.

So not ONE thing but a domino effect.
