Crushing Meds right after surgery

:help: I take a medication that is time released in a capsule so cannot be sprinkled. I was told that my meds have to be crushed for the first month. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?

Thanks,

Susan

so I just talked with my doctor and he suggested that since I take 3 of these timed release capsules at one time, that I break them open and take 1, 3 times a day. He said to call him if there are any problems, but that should work.

Thanks for your suggestions
