Swollen/bloated belly

Hi,

My surgery was 3-13-14 and I was wondering how long my stomach will feel bloated/swollen? I have lost 38 pounds since the day of surgery but can not see the difference in my belly area. I had a very hard time with pain around incisions up until a few days ago. I still can not bend over with out causing discomfort. Is there anyone that is experiencing this? (Or did experience this?) I am frustrated.

I'm 7 weeks out, and I still have a lot of incision pain. It's hard to bend over, sleep on my sides, etc. My doctor told me it's normal and can be painful for up to 6 months.

Use a heating pad in the swollen belly. I did that and it took it all down after just a few days. I even slept with it on at night.

And I could feel a slight pulling on my right side for several months. But now at 6 months out I dont feel it.

My doc said the swelling could be just bloating. I'm irregular, and once I'm regular again, swelling/bloating will go down I hope!
