Hernia?

Hi everyone. I'm exactly one week post op. yesterday my 2 year old jumped off the stairs into my arms. Of course I had no choice but to catch her. (She's 24lbs) it felt as though I had strained myself at the time but nothing excruciating. Now I'm so afraid that I may have caused a hernia. Just wondering if anyone had experiences like this?

Also what was your abdominal pain like at 1 week post op?

I'll be one week post op tomorrow. I still have pain here and there if I try to do too much. I would take it easy and if it's bothering you, I'd call your call doctor just to be on the safe side.

Hope you feel better soon :)

Thanks for your reply. I'm hoping its just the normal pain that comes with healing. (Fingers crossed!!) my post op is next Friday.

Hopefully that's all it is. Fingers crossed for you!
